ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The Texas Assistive Technology Regional Conference is sponsored by the Texas Assistive Technology Network (TATN) and the Texas Education Agency (TEA). Assistive Technology enables students with disabilities to access the curriculum, increase independence, and participate actively in education and life activities. Presentations from national, regional and local AT practitioners are featured as well as an exhibit hall.

Session and materials costs are partially funded through state or federal grants.

  1. The conference has been approved for  15 SBEC CPEs.

  2. The conference has been approved for 14.25 TSHA CEUs.

  3. Application for TPTA CEUs has been made and is still pending.

  4. ACVREP 12.75 credit hours approved for the TATN conference.

    · June 16 – 5.0 hrs.

    · June 17 – 5.25 hrs.

    · June 18 – 2.5 hrs.

  5. The actual CEUs/credits that can be earned will be determined by presentation submissions, CE provider approval and the sessions participants attend.
