Texas Assistive Technology Regional Conference 2008

Call for Presenters:

Submissions are closed. If you would like to be placed on a wait list, please e-mail Angela Standridge at amstand@esc4.net

School district, medical/rehabilitation and private practice practitioners of assistive technology are encouraged to submit a presentation.

The $75 fee is waived for up to two presenters per submission and each presenter will receive a voucher valued at $20 to attend additional assistive technology training at Region 4 Education Service Center (click here to preview our current catalog).

It is highly recommended that the needed following information be created in a word processor and then pasted into the online submission:

Title
50 or less word Abstract to go in program
300 or less word summary describing the presentation
3 participant objectives
Presenter bio

Presentation rooms are equipped as follows:

Presentation room capacity ranges from 30-90 participants
One lapel microphone
Data projection system that can be connected to a laptop (cable provided; Mac users bring converter)
Video cassette player
Free guest Internet access via Ethernet (cable not provided) or wireless (card not provided)
Desktop computer: connected to the data projection system; DVD/CD/3.5 floppy drives, USB ports, Internet access; Windows XP and MS Office Professional 2003
